Another thing: firing all of your teachers does nothing to address the real problems in schools. Many schools are following outdated education practices—practices which notably go unchallenged by NCLB—that simply do not get results with students most likely to be in low-performing schools. There have been many studies that point to new curriculum, performance assessments, and teaching methods that markedly improve school performance.
